If you haven't had a chance to fill out and mail your student information questionnaire and photo, could you please bring it with you completed if you are planning on attending our open house on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Our open house will be before the bus orientation which is scheduled for our class at 10 a.m. This is a great time to bring in supplies.

Welcome!
Welcome!
Although we are on summer break, I know that the parents of new kindergarten students will be receiving letters shortly letting them know who their child's teacher will be for the 2018/2019 school year. If your child will be in my class this upcoming year, welcome! You have found my blog site!
I use this site as a clearinghouse for information. I have found, however, that if information needs to get to parents right away, I tend to email or send home an actual hard copy in your child's folder. I know you are busy, and checking my blog might not be at the top of your priority list.
I will be sending out a welcome letter at the end of July/beginning of August with lots of information. I will have an open house on bus orientation day when you may come in and tour the classroom with your child and bring in any school supplies. There will also be a parent information night in early September.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me at kharte@littletonps.org. I do check my email over the summer.

Performance Wednesday!
Our kindergarten performance and class reception will take place this Wednesday, June 6 at 10:30. The children have been working very hard on their songs! I look forward to seeing you all!

Wednesday is Superhero Day
This Wednesday we will be having Superhero Day! Please feel free to wear your favorite superhero gear or dress in red, white, and blue.

Future Day Rescheduled
Just a reminder that we are having an early release day on Wednesday, April 25. The spirit day originally scheduled for April 11 was moved to April 25 and the theme is the "future." If you want to participate, please dress as what you would like to be in the future (when you grow up).

Early Release Thursday
Hi all, Just a reminder that we have an early release day this Thursday (not the typical Wednesday). Next week, we have an early release day both Wednesday and Thursday, and we have no school on Friday. Please let me know if you have questions!

Global Play Day
Global Play Day is coming on Wednesday, February 7. I have sent a separate email to parents with the details. Children may bring in something to play with and share on Wednesday. Please no electronics or toys with batteries. This is always a fun day. Let's hope the predicted snow does not cause problems!
